Welcome to Houston Youth Activists.
It's time for our generation to hold our country to higher standards. Join us as we advocate for youth activism and political involvement in the issues that matter most. , and speak up against gun violence, cruel immigration policies, and more.
In 2018, we focused on gun violence and safety in our schools. Last year, we organized Houstonians for Migrant Justice, a collaborative project that focused on cruel immigration policies and called for greater transparency and accountability from the agencies responsible for detention centers. This fall, as we approach the 2020 Elections, we are creating and resources to help young Houstonians and Texans vote –– some for their first times.
In our efforts to advocate for justice, we rely on the generosity of fellow Houstonians, Texans, and Americans looking to make positive change. Please consider making a contribution to our mission by visiting our Gofundme page. All future donations will be used to advocate for young Houstonians and Texans. You can also follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat to spread the word. If you have any questions, concerns, or comments, please feel free to reach out to us here.
